I would like to home-school my daughter starting in the upcoming school year, she will be in grade 4. I am wondering what information people can offer when trying to decide if a blended program or a traditional home school program is best for us. My biggest concern is if I go traditional how will I find proper resources for grade 4 curriculum? I want her to stay up with other schooled children for in the future if she would like to return to the public system. I would like to know if there are resources that would assist us in making sure she is learning the proper things for her grade. Tools that may have handouts and stuff for each subject? Also it has been a long time since I did grade 4 work and I am worried about how I will properly help her to learn the material without something being layed out for us. Any advice or comments would be helpful. Thanks

Here’s an exerpt from my textbook which i dont get AT all. Can you tell me what they’re syaing T_T “Fluids move naturally from an area of high pressure to low pressure. Consider the simple example of drinking juice from a juice box. The motion you make when you drink with a straw removes air, creating an area of low pressure in your mouth [HUH?!]. As a result, the relatively higher pressure of the surrounding atmosphere pushes the juice into your mouth. If the air inside of a closed container is at a lower pressure than the air pushing on the outside of the container, there is an unbalanced force. You may have noticed this imbalance when drinking juice from a juice box. The straw makes such a tight seal that as you draw the juice up the straw and reduce the air pressure inside the juice box, the box buckles inward. The air pressure outside the juice box pushes the walls of the box together. When high pressure air moves to an area of lower pressure we can take advantage of its force to drive all sorts of mechanical devices and to carry, push or move objects. WHHHHAAAAT??!?!!?

I know it’ll be hard, and I’ll have to work real hard with extracurricular activities, community services, and receive great grades in classes and ACT and SAT’s, but what courses should I take? Any specific ones? What would Yale like to see on my transcript? -thanks.
