Read the story »I’m having a bit of a career crisis. Ever Since 7th grade, I’ve wanted to be a nurse (I’m 18 now). I took nursing classes throughout high school, and even got my CNA. I loved it. I took this year off before college and I have basically been working with children the entire time. I have worked at an orphanage, and I am currently teaching a Sunday School class, and subbing. I have found this year that I really have a passion for teaching. Now that college is coming up, I have know idea what I’m going to do. How can I choose between two fields that I am passionate about? What would you do in my situation (and don’t say teach nursing because I’m not really interested in teaching anything above elem.) BTW- I love helping people, I’m patient and I thrive on chaos. Also my worst subjects are math and science and I can speak Spanish. My mother is a teacher as well (that’s how I got into subbing)

Read the story »I am currently in the Cal Grant B program and want to switch to Cal Grant A. For the form to do so, do I need my college’s signature to get it processed? My college said that I did not need their signature, but I am not sure. Do I need one? I’m looking for people who have been in this situation or one similar to it. If I do need one, I will need another form and so I’d like to know where I can print the most currently used/newest version of the change request form. Sorry it’s long, please help!
