I NEED HELP IN DECIDING ON A MINOR FOR SPEECH PATH? PLS…?
Im currently a Communication Science major in the process of becoming a Speech Path one day. Im about to be a junior after this semester and I want to major in something that could correlate with my major. After I graduate I planning on becoming a teacher for awhile before I go into Speech Path fully…i want to get my alternative teacher certification to either teach Deaf Ed or special education with kids (not sure what specialization yet). I was considering minoring in sociology or psychology..which one seems more interesting? And is really minoring beneficial? If I minor in education imma have to retake some classes over and be in school more longer..which i dont wanna have to do that..(already goin on my 4th yr)…any suggestions or anothe choice of a minor? Thanks!!!

I writing a sci-fi for english class but i can not think of any names. The main charater is a boy who lives on a planet like earth, and he is just gaining his magical powers and is always trying to impress his teacher but would rather fool around with his powers than study magic. I cant think a name for him because i have not visualized him as much as i have other charaters. -the story is about this distant planet where there is a revoloution happening between the people who support alien troops colonizing their planet with advanced tech. and people with magical powers, defending their planet.

My son is a little over 3 1/2 and has just started talking a lot more a few months ago. He can say a lot words and say full on sentences but sometimes I can’t understand what he’s saying or trying to say. So basically his words aren’t exactly clear and he has the “S” or “D” pronunciation to a lot of his words. His doctor hasn’t said anything about his speech except for he’s making progress and is at where he needs to be with his speech. I beg to differ with it because my nephew who is a few months older than my son, speaks really well. His words and sentences are very clear and he doesn’t have any problems pronouncing any words. I feel like he does need to a therapist but would like to know if anyone else has a child who has been through this or is going through it right now. Does my child need to see a speech therapist?
